schwarzfunk



schwarzfunk was originally launched by uboot.com (an Azzurro daughter company) in late 2004 in Germany and Austria - to complement and monetarize the mobile internet usage of the uboot community. The Austrian schwarzfunk tariff was discontinued in 2005.

Due to the re-orientation of the social network of uboot.com and the great possibilities in the German mobile market the schwarzfunk assets were transferred to the newly founded company schwarzfunk gmbh - a 100 % daughter company of Azzurro. schwarzfunk has terminated all prior mobile phone tariffs and is focussing exclusively on the introduction of the GUTmobil tariff in Germany. GUTmobil is the first and only mobile phone tariff which includes a monthly donation to a charitable organisation of the customers choice - although the tariff is priced at discount level.
